Yet Another Flight Tracker
Privacy Policy
Last updated 21 August 2026
The short version
YAFT has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. It contains no third-party SDKs. Nothing you do in the app is recorded, and nothing about you is sent anywhere except the one thing the app cannot work without: roughly where you are, used to ask what is flying near you.
Your location
If you allow it, the app asks the system for your location once, to a resolution of about a kilometre, and sends that coordinate to adsb.lol along with a search radius. adsb.lol answers with the aircraft in that area. That is the entire use.
The coordinate is not stored by the app, not written to any log, and not sent to anyone else. It is not associated with you, your device or any identifier, because the app holds none of those. Requests carry no account, cookie or device identifier.
You do not have to share your location at all. Choosing a place by hand instead works exactly the same way, and is the ordinary way to use the app on an Apple TV.
What stays on your device
Your settings, any places you save, and a cache of aircraft and route details are stored on the device and nowhere else. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Aircraft information
To describe an aircraft, the app asks adsbdb about a transponder address or a callsign. Those identify an aircraft, not a person, and carry nothing about you.
The services the app talks to
The app communicates with two services, over HTTPS, and no others:
Both are operated independently of us and have their own privacy practices. As with any request to any server, they can see the network request itself, including the originating IP address.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages. It collects nothing from anyone, of any age.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Questions about any of it, or about what the app does, go to hello@velpoapp.com.
